Tammy is an Army veteran with a passion for helping other veterans develop an awareness and understanding about their military and post military experiences. Tammy has a passion to work with children, adolescents, and adults struggling with depression, anxiety, ADHD, self-esteem issues, relationship issues, addiction, infertility, parenting struggles, and other mental health related issues. Her focus is to support others and provide a safe space for individuals to express themselves in a genuine, non-judgmental environment.
Tammy received her bachelor’s degree from Old Dominion University and continued her education, earning a master’s in clinical Mental Health Counseling through Walden University. Tammy believes in self-care and taking care of one’s mental and physical health. In her leisure time, Tammy enjoys bodybuilding/weightlifting and listening to podcasts/motivational speakers.

Tammy uses various approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT) and person-centered techniques, to encourage and support clients as they journey through the therapeutic process. Tammy strives to meet individuals where they are at and provide encouragement and support along the way.
